The School of Applied Sciences was closed on 03.08.2023 with the Presidential Decree No. 7477 published in the Official Gazette No. 32269 dated 04.08.2023, and it was decided to establish a Faculty of Tourism within our university on the same date.

The missien of our faculty is to produce scientific knowledge at a universe level, to train qualified people who will professionally improve the position of the tourism sector in international competition and contribute to regional development.

The vision of our faculty is to be one of the leading faculties at the national level, to contribute to regional development by constantly improving the quality of scientific research an education-training activities, to train the qualified human resources needed by the tourism sector and to become an internationally recognized faculty in the long term.

As of the 2023-2024 academic year, there is only the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts under the Faculty of Tourism. In the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, those who have knowledge about the relevant legal regulations, professional standards and practices, research and apply the most appropriate production/service methods, can fulfill the kitchen-related planning, organization, coordination, direction and control functions, and use the tools and equipment in the kitchen environment. It is aimed to train individuals who know and use equipment and technology. In addition, studies are continuing to develop the Faculty of Tourism, establish a practice hotel and open new departments.
